Artist-in-Residence Program
When we purchased The Beach Rose Inn in 2006, our intention was to create a peaceful oasis where guests could come to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy an idyllic experience of Olde Cape Cod. In the past three years, we have been fortunate to share our wonderful home with guests from all over the world. During their stay, we have watched the stresses of everyday life melt away, layer by layer. The beauty of this place seems to offer gifts to each guest—what we like to call “Beach Rose Inn Magic.”
As creative people —one of us a sculptor, the other a writer— we know the importance of spending time in peaceful, beautiful places. Through The Beach Rose Inn Artist—in—Residence Program we offer fellow artists the opportunity to benefit from the gifts of our Inn. We want artists to be nurtured by our comfortable rooms and nourishing food and inspired by all that our area has to offer which include:
Flower and rose gardens, Salt marshes & Beaches, Picturesque Harbors, Historic architecture, Historic landmarks, and Easy Day Trips to Martha's Vineyard.
During their week's stay, Artists-in-Residence are free to draw, paint and sculpt to their heart's content. Some Artists-in-Residence also choose to use their time at the Inn to offer workshops to other artists. For more information about this program, please call 800-498-4706.
