Our 8 Guest Rooms are tastefully decorated in a style of its own. All are adorned with antique furniture and period reproductions, fine linens, and accent rugs. Originally built in 1863 as a wedding present, The Main Inn offers 4 guest rooms with historic ambience. With one room on the first floor and the remaining 3 on the second floor, The Main Inn is perfect for those who enjoy the experience of a traditional bed and breakfast. Located in a separate structure, each of the 4 rooms in The Carriage House is located on the first floor and has its own separate entrance. Rooms in The Carriage House are perfect for those who enjoy the privacy of a hotel.

Please note: while not all rooms are equipped with refrigerators, we can provide a refrigerator in any room upon request. Also in rooms that do not have Cable TV, we have a flat screen TV with built-in DVD available upon request - as well as a small DVD loaning library.

Highland Room - The Carriage House

The Highland Room is our most popular room for a romantic getaway or special occasion. Soothe in your bubbling whirlpool for two, then curl up beneath the covers in your canopy bed as you enjoy the glow of your fireplace.

Chatham Room - The Main Inn

Bright and airy, with windows on three walls, this spacious second floor room offers beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset. The Chatham Room features a fireplace and is decorated with carefully chosen antique furnishings and accessories.

Quisset Room - The Main Inn

This second floor room evokes a turn-of-the-century feeling. The antique four poster bed, delicate glass sconces and vintage bathroom fixtures reflect bygone days. The old fashion soaking tub in the large bathroom completes the historic ambience. Also included with your stay in the Quisset Room is your own private Sitting Room with Cable/DVD TV and a full size pullout couch.

Nauset Room - The Carriage House

Located in the Carriage House, the Nauset Room has its own private entrance.. A queen bed takes center stage and is adorned with a soft yellow matelasse spread and pillows. A colorful wall mural depicting a lovely path in nature is a focal point of this room.

Sankaty Room - The Carriage House

Tucked away in the rear of the Carriage House, the Sankaty Room offers you private and peaceful accommodations with your own private entrance, complete with a small outdoor sitting area. Room features include a queen bed, large bath, and soaking tub. The Sankaty Room is pet friendly.

Nobska Room - The Carriage House

Blue flowers and ivy stenciling whimsically frame the King bed of the Nobska Room. Located in the Carriage House, this room is bright and airy. This room can also be set up with two twin beds.

Cotuit Room - The Main Inn
This cheerful second floor room offers a light floral touch. The room hosts a queen bed and several antique furnishings that add to its charm. The Cotuit Room can be combined with the Chatham Room to create a two-room suite with private access.
